COLORADO'S TOP INTEGRATED MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS GRADUATE JOINS
THE PHELPS GROUP
Santa
Monica, Ca.; January 26, 2000 -- The Phelps Group has announced
that Ed Chambliss of Boulder, Colorado, has joined the integrated
marketing communications (IMC) agency as a team manager. Chambliss
has been assigned to work on the firms Western Dental, Countrywide,
and Energy Star accounts.
Chambliss holds
a master of arts degree in integrated marketing communications from
the University of Colorado at Boulder -- one of only two such programs
in the nation. Chambliss was the universitys first student
to receive "Outstanding IMC Graduate" honors.
Prior to enrolling
in the graduate program, Chambliss was a copywriter for BBDO in
Atlanta from 1989 to 1995 working on Delta Air Lines, Hardees,
Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and other accounts.
Chambliss is
the author of several published articles including "Knowledge
Branding: An Educational Mission for the Information Age" (Integrated
Marketing Communications Research Journal) and "Writing for
an Apathetic Audience" and "Selling the Most Important
Product of All: You," (Creative Strategy In Advertising, fourth
and fifth editions).
