The Phelps Group Wins Telly Award on behalf of City of Hope

SANTA MONICA, Calif. - (May 17, 2010) - The Phelps Group was recently honored with a Telly Award, the premier awards competition for local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, video and film productions and work created for the Web.

On behalf of City of Hope, a world leader in cancer research and treatment, The Phelps Group received a Bronze Telly Award for a video featuring its preeminent bone marrow transplant program and chairman, Stephen J. Forman, M.D. Every year, City of Hope hosts a bone marrow transplant reunion for former cancer patients. The video tells a story of lives saved and a conviction to do the same for thousands more, which is the driving force behind all of the research and treatment provided at City of Hope.

The Telly Awards honor the very best local, regional and cable television commercials and programs; the finest video and film productions; and work created for the Web. Since 1978, its mission has been to strengthen the visual arts community by inspiring, promoting and supporting creativity. The 31th-annual Telly Awards received more than 13,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents.
