The Phelps Group Wins Two 2010 Communicator Awards
For Work On Behalf Of City of Hope

SANTA MONICA, Calif. - (July 30, 2010) - The Phelps Group received two Silver Communicator Award of Distinctions on behalf of their client, City of Hope. The awards were granted for the "Canswer" campaign in the "integrated campaign" category and a video featuring Stephen J. Forman, chairman of City of Hope's preeminent bone marrow transplant program, brought home an additional Silver Award of Distinction in the "film/video, charitable/not for profit" category.

In the multi-media "Canwser" campaign, The Phelps Group created an integrated strategy to promote City of Hope as a premier cancer treatment facility. Tactics included spot radio, out-of-home, print ads and web banners.

Every year, City of Hope hosts a bone marrow transplant reunion for former cancer patients. The Dr. Forman video tells a story of lives saved and a conviction to do the same for thousands more, which is the driving force behind all of the research and treatment provided at City of Hope.
