The Phelps Group Wins Three Awards of Excellence from PRSA-LA

SANTA MONICA, Calif. - (October 27, 2009) - The Public Relations Society of America, Los Angeles Chapter (PRSA-LA), presented The Phelps Group, an integrated marketing communications agency, with three honors at the 45th annual PRSA-LA PRism Awards banquet Thursday, October 22.

The Phelps Group was recognized in three distinct categories on behalf of clients Tahiti Tourisme, Dunn-Edwards Paints and Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital. PRism "Awards of Excellence" were given to the agency's Tahiti Tourisme team for the "Invest in Your Love Website", the Dunn-Edwards Paints team for the "Specs+Spaces" newsletter and Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital team for the "Renee and Meyer Luskin Children's Clinic of Orthopaedic Hospital" clinic opening invitation.

PRSA-LA recognizes excellence in communication through its PRism Awards program. This year, more than 200 entries were received by the Public Relations Society of America from agencies, corporate, nonprofit, and independent practitioners in the public relations profession in and around the Los Angeles area.
