PHP Programmer/Web Developer (Part-time)
We are looking for a web developer with strong PHP and front-end skills to maintain an existing PHP website at our office location on a part-time basis (about 30 hrs/wk). Candidates must be detailed and responsible.

Responsibilities:
- Extend a custom-made CMS
- Make simple graphic/copy updates to a website
- QA all updates using these browsers: IE6+, FF2+, Opera 9+, Safari 3+, Chrome

Required Skills:
- PHP
- HTML/CSS
- JavaScript (Prototype library)

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in PHP and web development

Associate Creative Director w/proven brilliance as a cross-platform art director
This position requires an experienced, talented ACD/CD-level web-smart Art Director to provide forward thinking creative insight, leadership and inspirational creative collaboration. The individual will develop and execute cross-platform strategy and content to support and validate the businesses, brands and campaigns of our clients and their projects. You'll work with client-based teams on results-oriented campaigns across online and traditional media. The ideal candidate will have an overall understanding of marketing communications, and show particular strength in banner design, web design, and in defining viral opportunities and best practices online. This is an opportunity to gain a leadership position in one of America’s leading integrated marketing communications companies.

Job Duties:
  • Leading multiple self-directed teams in developing effective on-line direct response campaigns (conceptual and design elements)
  • Inspire the entire agency with your talent, experience and enthusiasm
  • Concepting rich media banner ads and promotional landing pages
  • Building working prototypes and building out campaigns for tracking
  • Developing cross-platform campaigns that may include online, broadcast and print
  • Gathering client business requirements and providing guidance and direction for the team
  • Presenting work at critical checkpoints
  • Working to best utilize each designer’s core disciplines to achieve maximum efficiency and quality
  • Maintain access to style guides and art asset intranets
  • Creating graphics standards for campaigns
  • Apply business insight and design skills to plan and execute high-quality content delivery
  • Ensuring that project deliverables meet the needs of clients


Qualification Requirements

Education and Training:
A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design is preferred along with at least five years related experience in a creative design environment. Candidate will have a basic understanding of CSS, PHP, XML, JavaScript, MYSQL, ActionScripting and InDesign along with an advanced understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and Flash.

Internships
Paid internships offered in the following disciplines: Advertising Account Management, Interactive, Promotions, Art Direction/Design, Media, Public Relations

Description of the internship: Assist in different aspects of project execution and coordination for our clients. Depending on the discipline/team, this may include preparing media authorizations, spreadsheets, marketing plans, new business presentations, filing, research, brainstorming ad concepts, supplier coordination, developing cross-promotional ideas, proofreading, running errands, assisting in ad and collateral creation, word processing, assembling media kits, database development and updates, production traffic, interactive and web site coordination and development. We ask for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Requirements: Senior-year students or recent university graduates preferred. Suggested minimum of 20 hours a week. Must commit to at least one semester/quarter. When applying, clearly state the months you are interesting in working.
