A few facts and figures. Today, we have 70 full-time associates, fully committed to helping 24 deserving clients build their businesses. Our annual billings are $65 million.

The Phelps Group is the only marketing communications agency in Los Angeles to be ranked in the Top 25 for both advertising agencies and public relations firms by The Los Angeles Business Journal. And we’ve been there for the past 13 years.

We're blessedly independent. The Phelps Group was created in 1981 by Joe Phelps, our CEO. We're independent and employee-owned via our ESOP. All decisions for ourselves and our clients are made right here… by us… not by a holding company board or investor group.

Now stronger than ever. In December, 2009, we made two significant acquisitions, adding more brainpower to our client-based teams -- Anita Santiago Advertising, one of the best known and respected agencies in the West for communicating with the Hispanic market and Copia Creative whose upstream expertise in branding, corporate identity and design will be invaluable.

Global reach. Finally, The Phelps Group is also a long-standing member of ICOM, the leading international network of independent advertising agencies. ICOM members have access to the resources and knowledge of 200+ offices of 70 agencies in 50 countries worldwide with $2.4 billion in revenues.

We're active in our industry. We're members of top industry and trade associations including the American Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAA), Business Marketing Association (BMA), Public Communicators of Los Angeles (PCLA), Promotion Marketing Association (PMA), Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Productions Managers Association (PMA) and thinkLA (local media, marketing and advertising association).
